Piñata Room
THE PINATA ROOM presented 30 pinatas created by artist, Shelter Serra, at Gary Lichtenstein Editions. Each pinata was filled with unique art objects made, collected and, in some cases, manipulated by Shelter. Pinata smashing took place midway through the evening and, armed with limited edition silkscreen bags, guests eagerly rushed to collect what fell to the floor. Select pinatas as well as two silkscreen print editions were available for sale.
